EG hatch Cargo cover, which speakers?
After posting this in the audio section with no response, I was wondering what speakers will work on the cargo cover. I was told 6x9s(by a guy who happened to have a good deal on them at his house) but I'm thinking that's too big. Please help, I'm ordering the stuff for my system by next monday and I don't want anything I can't use.
anything fits u just have to cut a hole into the cover. getting the panels for speakers would probably look a bit nice tho.
6 x 9 s will work. see it all the time. gonna use a pair my self. one lil tip tho:
if you can pull the carpet material back, its probably glued, and the cut the holes, you can mount them under and then re-glue the carpet so to theives it looks stock and that wont give'em a reason to look into it any farther!!. Thats what im gonna do even if i gotta replace the entire carpet which im thinkin of doin anyway, get rid of the blue and make it black!!

Won't that mess with the sound a little bit? Either way my windows are tinted real dark, so I'm probally not going to do it. Good suggestion if it doesn't mess with the sound though.

Why even do this? just get a jdm rear speaker set-up, and wont havin the speakers on the cover be to flimsy and the sound quality be crappy??
