Default will our cars start without the seatbelt wire harness under the seat plugged in?

i have a 1991 ex 4 ddor, i have downtime, my head is being replaced ny a different one and i am swapping in an integra center console. in order to do this i needed to remove my seatbelt bolted to the actual seat.

i have heard that leaving this unplugged(once i remove the seat belt from the seat) will not let you start your car. i just read this in another thread. is this true? what do guys with aftermarket seats do?

and if this is true can i just leave the wires and whatever it is connected to plugged in? i wont be able to start the car up for like 2-3 weeks. any ideas or questions fire away!

I cut my seatbelt wires when I changed my belts to black instead of blue.

Car started no problem after a nasty swap with auto to manual. It's an EF, you can have 3/4 of the **** unplugged and it will run like a champ everyday...I friggin love them .

What's a floor bar? Where can I get one? Any pics?
