Can Prelude Fuel Injectors Fit in our Rides?
Saw this somewhere.... The 97+ ludes injectors will just drop right into an ITR without any mods or adjustments. Is this right? If so where can I get some and how much?
Thanks
Thanks
That is correct. I can't remember if they are 270 or 290cc but they drop right in. Just make sure NOT to use 92-96 injectors as those are low impedence and saturated.
Cool..so I don't need to change the clips or anything, right...just drop them in? Do you guys know how much they go for brand new or used, preferably new though.
Thanks
Thanks
I am using stock injectors with my 3's.
So our 4 of my other friends, although I will be the first to upgrade, need more fuel.

Found some used for 150 on http://www.sohfast.com in the prelude forum.
Well, I spoke to RC and they told me I can even go with there 270cc model. If I were to do major engine work like boring, port & polish, milling the head, and etc. then I would need 310cc or 370cc. Since I am just have the cams and Hondata ecu, I could go with the 270cc. I rather go with the prelude injectors cause they are 290cc and they just drop right in there with out probs, I would just have to have it dyno tuned properly using the Prelude 290cc injectors. Just wanted to verify it before I went out and bought them.
I found them at majestic honda. I think they are 80 bucks a set, or maybee thats wrong. Its says 4 required but then in the description it says "set". Can someone check the part number maybee. Im intrested in doin this to may car when i get cams soon.

Without using the resistor box, you'll need to use 97+ Prelude injectors on your OBD1 car, but the plugs will not match. You'll have to change to OBD2 injector plugs.
The plugs on the 92-96 Prelude injectors are different from the 97+ Prelude ones.

Anyone know how to tell the difference between the 97+ Prelude injectors and the 92-96 one?
Ok, so this strikes up another question...
Will the 97+ Prelude injectors work w/ a p28 obd1 ecu & hondata?
