Does anyone know what paint scheme skunk2 uses?
I was wondering what paint scheme Skunk2 uses for their project vehicles like the skunk2 9sec RSX, and the Skunk2 Civic si (the hatch that appeared in SportCompact),and the new civic Si that they have... any know? i'd do the search but its soo difficult to find it!

I would tell you but I would have to kill you... Actually google it up. Most likely they use Blitz Black. Google is your friend.
See i thought it was flat black also, satin black sounds right , but man... it's like perfect flat black... a little shine to it but not too much,... flat black seems like it will lose it's color quick.. so satin sounds right, i guess!

well, at fall nationals in E-town, i was searching for the coveted flat black terror...only to find this....

paint??? hoy dare they! Both the DC5 and the DC2 were rocking the same theme.

its so perfect i bet they sprayed it a basic black, then went over it with a clear with a flatting agent in it, so it came out satin finnished
^^^ you could use a flatting agent,
but it will turn out poos... A) it scratches easily, (the paint) and B) the black would fade out supeeer quick.. Poos...
best way is to use a satin clear, same as your normal clear coat, but its flat, and it like your regular clear coat, offers proctection, of the paint, so you scratch the clear, not the paint, and protect against u.v rays etc...
i just found it after a hard search, turns out very nice,.... i will post up my progress pics, and finsihed results when i sort it out,
