yes or no... simple question
I purchased the “red” silicone gasket maker from AutoZone a couple days ago for my transmission oil bolt… just a question, will this stuff work with an exhaust manifold as a gasket? It’s rated at 600F I think or was it Celsius. Not sure but can I use this instead of a gasket? this is an oem header/manifold by the way.
Assuming they're in good shape, you can reuse the one at the head and the one between the upper and lower half of the manifold, but I wouldn't recommend reusing the donut gasket at the collector.

If they are in good shape sure. I have done it before without problems and mine were in pretty good shape.
I have since then replaced it when I rebuilt the motor but the gaskets came with some stuff that I ordered. If you have to reuse as long as it is in good shape I would not worry about it.
