I know I should make my own decision, but help me out with wheels.
I'm thinking about putting down a $200 deposit on some 16 inch bronze TE37s with Toyo Proxes TS1s (pretty much unused) for this guy to hold them for me until mid-july when I'll pay the rest: total $2100. Should I go for this, or should I just wait till I have the money and buy them new. Or, should I go for some different rims; i.e. MF10s, regamasters, buddy club? I'm willing to spend the cash for some good, lightweight rims so I just want to be happy with my choice. Thanks.
Umm...no....a good rule of thumb is pay all now, get your stuff ASAP...if you give him enough time, he can fug that deal up real bad (like selling them, or damaging them).

Matt - I think I might know who the seller is (on H-T.com)...
I don't think he will jack you, but are you sure that those rims are what you want? Some other choices in the same $ bracket...
1. MF10
2. CP-035
3. SW388 or EVO
4. RG
5. TypeC
6. SSR Comp
7. etc.
The rule of thumb in purchasing a set of rims are... unless you love 'em at first sight, don't sweat it. (unless you get a mad deal @ 50% off.
). Since you're going w/ 16" this rule will hold even more true as they are "sport wheels" for the streets, right?
Personally, I would spend that much money on some nice suspension + nice rubber over a set or rims.

Also, keep in mind that the CE28N will be brought over here SOON in a 15 and 16 5 lug!!!!!! Of course, once I find out the dates, I will post.
Those are the ones I am considering. Nothing wrong with your selection, even tho they look better on FBP ITR!!!!!! Ohh yeah...that is a long time for some stranger to hold a deposit, very easy to scratch or to sell to someone else like myself j/k when I hold $2300 cash in his grill

$2100 on wheels...

You sound a bit undecided...$2100 is a ton of cash to spend on wheels, IMO, especially when there are so many lesser-priced options. If youre set on getting them used, I would hold out a bit longer (especially if you dont have the money). This way, you can gather the cash, and in the meantime find that needle-in-a-haystack deal that will net you the wheels you want at a killer price.
