valve cover torque specs
its either 9 or 10 ft lbs. i just do mine until 10 ft lbs
sometimes before i get to 10 ft lbs theres the ***** about to break feeling..needless to say i stop there

actually its 8 ft lbs. Just do it until snug. It doesnt need to be torqued or really wrenched down. Anymore then snug and you will be stripping bolts or snapping the stands.
I just go by feel... So many people have broken the studs using the stock torque specs. Torquing the stud is compressing the rubber, so all you need think about when you tighten it is squishing the rubber enough to not leak oil.

I actually snapped mine a few days ago replacing the gaskets..lol. It is 8.7lbs but I would just do it by hand and don't overtighten it for sure.

I broke one of mine too once. By hand snug is the way to go, even that breaks them eventually.
