Default quick muffler questions

i have an h22a engine with stock cat with 2.5 pipping with an top speed muffler...it's sound real nice but kinda loud for me..so i wanted to get something that is quieter...so i was thinking between.. vibrant muffler that all black one or Apexi Ws universal muffler

i dont know which one cause i hear good review for both...the sound i want from the muffer would be something "mean" deep tone not so loud......

thanks

i have the Apexi' World Sport II cat-back exhaust and it sounds awesome. It's pretty quiet at idle (even while driving) but at the same time sounds awesome which you floor the gas pedal. I use to have a after market canister style (similar to the N1) muffler and it was just too loud for me and it got to the point where it just annoyed me. I bought the Apexi' WSII and i absolutely LOVE it.

I don't have one myself, but it's my favorite cat-back besides the mugen twinloop system.

maybe you just need to lubricate your muffler bearings...

If you don't want loud, get the Apex'i 60mm version, not the 80mm.

I'm actually going to this myself but I have a high-flow cat and 2.5 piping too. I am going to buy this same muffler but if you do it first let me know if it sounds good and no to much so it can alert cops and neighbors lol.

The 60mm? Would it really be quieter or would it just be robbing some of the power?

I've seen them on ebay for $159.99 plus shipping but since I am in Puerto Rico, the shipping is a whole lot more than I want to pay for the muffler. If anybody knows a website or something else where they are selling these mufflers please let us know.

The 60mm is a chambered design and the 80mm is straight through. I have the 80mm on my FI setup and it's not too bad with the turbo, but it's really loud and annoying N/A.
