Default Car Speakers

Well jsut wondering if anybody here had any experience with these two speakers..

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com...xials

http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/p...-17C2

I have an Alpine CDA-9847 headunit. I'm not a huge audiophile but i do appreciate nice quality. I mainly listen to hiphop and punk so clearity is not a HUGE issue.

I'm also open to suggestion but i'm looking to spend about 2 - 3 hundred. Not planning to get a sub so a bassy set from the speakers will be ideal.

Would 2 ways be better than getting the 3 and 4 way coaxials??

Thanks!

Stick with 2ways, the Alpines are "over-sized" 6.5" and are not a direct fit, [plug and play] in a Honda/Acura, BTW what do you have for a car?

The R/F are 4" and other then 84-87 Civics and 94-02 Passports are also not a plug and play speaker, [depending on car] the Alpine is a pretty good speaker and with a sen. of 92dB will work well with just HU power, as long as the speakers are installed properly. Alpine CDA-9847, [4x18W rms].

I have an Alpine and 4 Eclipse 6.5" 2ways, no amps or sub, works for me. 94
