i didn't drive my 99 hatchback for about 20days because of my vacation
and this morning when i first start it. it was fine then i let it sit for a min then the idle start going up and down. and i thought it will go away once the engine warm up, so i waited another min but it's stay the same. so i start driving with it (because i am in a rush to school) and the check engine light come on. i checked for vacum leaks but didn't find anything. too bad i don't have obdII scanner otherwise i should know what exactly the problem
anyone have the same problem before? or any mechanic knows what happening to my civic? any help will be great thx

 

first thing id look at is the iacv... that happened to me once in my old 97 integra and i had to take it off and clean it out n lube it up with wd40
