Ohhh, the paint is messed up on all the wheels, the front especially. I'm going to do a DIY thread on the HX's instead of LS's that I was going to do before. Just wanted opinions of the car with white wheels, er, dirty white wheels.

I think the HX's will look sweet refinished in silver or gunmetal (although that is somewhat generic these days) but the white isn't doing nothing for your sexy EK.
Also get rid of that purple tint, either retint w/ quality metallic (non-dyed, won't turn purple like that easily, maybe 3-4yrs before you notice any fade) such as llumar, sungard, etc.
Lastly, what model is your Civic? I'm considering an EK and I've found 3, 2 are DXs, 1 is an EX, all for $3,000. Thing is this, the 1 DX I'm considering the most is MINT w/ only 80k miles, original female owner, no body damage, new timing belt & water pump; then there is the EX which has a few finger dings, worn carpet, appears to have paint work on the two front fenders, a little riced (wannabe jdm headlights, n1 exhaust, 16in konigs). I'm stuck between the two, maybe you could give me advice? Sorry to thread jack bro

No problem, I'll be happy to help out. Honestly, if it were my choice I would go with the DX so long as it has AC, I don't care much for power windows and locks etc., You can always put those on afterwards.
What are your plans for the car is also a big variant. If you're going to swap out the engine anyways, get the DX since the body is in great shape. If you're looking for a DD, I would consider the EX as long as there isn't too much too fix on it. Hope this helped.
BTW, mine is an EX. Love the moonroof.
EDIT: Also about the tint, it's not purple AT ALL, I guess the picture portrayed it that way for some reason. I suck with the camera heh heh.

Really? I think if I dropped it a good 3/4 of an inch more, they would look perfect. Agree to disagree I guess

i never really liked white wheels on anything besides white cars but that's just me..gunmetal hx's look really nice.
on the wheels being too small, I didn't think mine were too small for my ej8 until i got 16s. looking back at old pictures it looks really funny cause the wheels are soo small and the sidewall is soo big. i think 15" is the magical number for these cars though
btw..is that a really dark blue or black? i'd love to see some more pics in the sun

You cant see the tires at all in that second pic and it makes the rims look real small.
My brother has white hx's on his daily driver wagon. They look hot with the right tires.
