compare decks
What are the big differences and are they even that big of a difference between the Alpine 9855 and the JVC 810.
they both have 4volt preouts and thats basically all i care about. i can get the alpine deck for like $150 more but cant justify spending that much more.
Let me know your guy's opinions on these decks.

810 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...01206 , not 820.
the reason was if you guys had any personal take on the two for ex. quality or performance.

why is that all you care about? theres a lot more to a HU than the preouts. I'd be more concerned with the DAC's. I recommend actually listening to your own taste when purchasing an HU rather than someone on the net. We all have different opinions of what sounds good.

I'll say that the alpine has a cleaner sound. It a little more crisp imo. Esp there amps, I know I am vereeing off the subject. But I tested a alpine amp vs a kenwood. both were 4 channel, both were using the same speakers and both were crossed at the same points. The alpine just sounded better.
What about a Rockford Fosgate amp, say a P3002. Thats what i plan on using for the front Type R components.
Also, a higher dB signal to noise ratio means it has less distortion right. The JVC is 102dB and the alpine is 105dB.

Right, altough as far as I know, all over 90 db is inaudible (spel?)
