Car was running perfect,down for a week now wont start helpp

Default Car was running perfect,down for a week now wont start helpp

ok i have a 1996 civic ex with lsvtec.car ran perfect.its been parked for a week and now it wont start.all it does is crank and crank.I replaced the coil,i had a spare laying around.New spark plugs and still nuthin same result.any other reasons why this would happen?thanks any feedback would be appreciated

Have you checked and see if your fuel is bad? I remember my car wouldn't start after a couple of weeks of sitting and after hours of trying to dianose it, it turned out to be the fuel. What I did was pump as much fuel as I can and put in some new fuel and it started up with no problem.

^Yes, because turboing the car will make it start up?

The fuel has leaked all the way down the lines, and the fuel MAY also be bad. how long did you crank the car? try to put some new gas into it. Also, did you just put the key in and crank? or did you let the fuel pump prime?

ha thanks for the input let me put a whole turbo kit on that will solve the problem

now back to the question at hand yes i always let the fuel pump prime sometimes twice and gas i about a week old i filled it up with amoco 93 octane before it sat
