Whats the difference between a turbo manifold and a pair of headers?
Turbo manifolds are for turbo cars only. A header is for a Natural Aspirated cars and some Supercharge cars only.
Oh god.....run and hide dude... that was a horribly newbieish question
. Im left in shock after than one, but ill be nice and give u an answer.
They are completely different things. The headers are for all motor applications and are all made fairly similar with the only variable being the diameter of the primaries and collectors. This is holds true unless you are running a remote mounted turbo in which case u can use the headers, as the turbo will be mounted in the rear of the vehicle off the B-pipe,
A TURBO maifold is just that, a manifold made for the SOLE purpose to route exhaust gases into a TURBOCHARGER to increase the engines output. A turbo manifold usually comes in different designs and mounting positions such as log manifolds, top mount, equal length, ect.
