Nope, the Integra LS never came with a motor that had Vtec.

 

Is it worth me taking the head for 27.99 cdn how much HP on CRX Si bottom. Will it work do i need all the wiring etc.

 

LS is non-VTEC.

 

How much HP and Tourque. I want more tourque !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It won't bolt up to the bottom end if it is the b18 version. It won't even bolt on if it is the d16a1 from the early integras. No it isn't worth paying for it.

 

What about the hole engine for 130.00 cdn. Wouldnt it be better to keep my Si engine with CAI,Header,Exhaust,Cam,chip ???? I heard something about prelude injectors on Si engine give you more HP?? Is that tru=e??

 

Keep your Si engine unless the motor you are looking at is the B18a. Prelude injectors provide more fuel and not more horsepower. When they provide hp is when you have something to take advantage of the extra fuel.

 

Yeah i was thinking about doing a 300ZX turbo and someone said prelud injectors are a must for all FI and NOS applications. Which Lude are these off of? I will keep my Si engine I think its got plenty of power. But a turbo would really bring it alive. I was there just to grab a fuel pump for my VW cause im selling it and saw the DOHC on a INtegra and though it might be useful. So i wont get it and wait untill i sell my VW then get some cheap rims (i already got tires) and suspension work. Then get someone to make me a turbo manifold so i can put my 300ZX turbo on the engine

 

Oh yeah almost forgot how do i tell if its a B18A ??? Where does it say it dont have a valve cover

 

Look at the block stamp near where the motor and trans meet right to the left of the exhaust manifold. It should have the engine code stamped on there.

 

Allrighty i will do so tommorow when I decide to go back out into the FRIKKEN SNOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH I HATE SNOW
