Toda Header Installed Today--- I think mind is playing tricks on me
well I recieved and installed my Toda header today. replacing my DC JDM. and honestly it does notfeel any faster according to the Butt dyno. the header is beautiful in every way.
I dont know why the car feels slower than it did with the JDM. I think maybe its all in my mind because I expected so Much from it. I know the Only way for me to tell is to get on the Dyno.
and the internal collecter size was a little smaller than a DC JDM, we MIC it.
but all in all I am happy with it, even if it doesnt provide the same HP, it provides much better ground clearance and the Bling Bling factor is MINT

I have the Toda Header as well......Its awesome, gave me more of a gain than the spoon header....Ask Vtec4gs, he'll tell ya!
Also great ground clearance as well...hope you like it more after tuning.

Vegeta,
Have some fun tuning it and get back to us...the TODA should be a great improvement over the other header.

yea I bet my A/F is way off now.
the only thing that makes me think that it is making more power is that I will spin some accelerating threw first, never did that with the DC, but have dont it quite a few times today

hmmm i can tell you one thing
I had incognitos ITR for a weekend to borrow while he did some work on my hooptie
it felt slow to me but when coming across an unsuspecting hybrid
proceeded to easily hand him his butt with 3 other people in the car
go figure
maybe slower IS faster!

What tires are you running, because out here in Utah at 5000 feet above sea level, I spin through first and part of second on KUMHO 712s 205-50-15. Good thing I am waiting for my SO-3's.

well I just took it for another Spin, and I have to say, they car does feel alot faster. I realised why It felt slower to me in the First place
I had the A/C on.. i fogot it was on it was set low, so it slipped my mind, well now that I turned the A/C off it feels alot better than the DC JDM

Keep us informed. I'll like to see the dyno comparision between the Jdm and Toda header in a R with non-stock cams.
I switched from a JDM 4-1 to a Toda a couple of months ago. On the high end I noticed a small but noticable gain, but in the mid range(3K-7K rpms) I noticed huge gains.

if you are who I think you are then you got the header fine today ?
you really should add at least 1psi fuel on adj regulator or +5% on fuel controller ...
pretty much every toda header I install and/or tune the owner feels quite a bit more power.
Also, dont let the collector size fool you, its double walled ...
