Have you tried to put the old corner light back in? Does this cure the speed blinker problem? I haven't messed with my Civic lights, but my Jeep will do this until it's screwed in place which grounds the light. Sounds like it could be a ground issue.

if its wired correctly, and you soldered (or at least taped) the individual wires, check the bulb and the fuse

I have the same light bulbs(oem blub and harness) in the corner lights but different corner lights(jdm ferio eg9).. all i did was basically cut the 3wires and then put them back together. is a soldered the thing they use to connect speaker wires? and will a bulb that is goin out cause a speed blinker?
I also forgot to mention that the turn signal doesnt even blink in the corner light only in the rear tail lights, maybe that can help yall a lil????

Check the bulb. Also check to make sure that you have the wires spliced together correctly.

Take the bulb out of the other side that works correctly and put it in the one that isn't working. Did it fix it?

no, solder is...solder. Its metal that you melt on the wires to make a secure connection.
I dont know what youre talking about for speaker wire connectors (quick connects maybe?)
