I cut my wire harness on my corner lights....help please.
I know someone can help me. Okay yesterday i got the jdm corner lights for my eg9. i must have been trippin cuz i cut the oem wire harness and tryed to hook up the jdm wire harness. Anyways after the jdm harness didnt work i noticed that the oem harness fit perfect in the jdm corner light, however; now on one side of my car (the side where i cut the oem wire harness) i have freakn speed blinker. that crap is hella wack and i need to get rid of it today. I wired the stock harness right up green wire red wire and black but maybe i did something wrong?????? please help....
Have you tried to put the old corner light back in? Does this cure the speed blinker problem? I haven't messed with my Civic lights, but my Jeep will do this until it's screwed in place which grounds the light. Sounds like it could be a ground issue.
I have the same light bulbs(oem blub and harness) in the corner lights but different corner lights(jdm ferio eg9).. all i did was basically cut the 3wires and then put them back together. is a soldered the thing they use to connect speaker wires? and will a bulb that is goin out cause a speed blinker?
I also forgot to mention that the turn signal doesnt even blink in the corner light only in the rear tail lights, maybe that can help yall a lil????

no, solder is...solder. Its metal that you melt on the wires to make a secure connection.
I dont know what youre talking about for speaker wire connectors (quick connects maybe?)
