Well I just went after work and ordered up a couple items...
First Molding carbon rear diffuser

Augment Racing Equipment dry carbon bonnet dampers

The bonnet dampers should arrive in 1 week and the rear diffuser in 2 weeks. The dampers are really nice and the company is altering the rate a bit softer because I have a carbon bonnet so it is not just thrown up fast.
I will get pics as soon as the items arrive and post and also after install.

Been waiting to see what you're gonna get next
Only thing keeping from getting the bonnet dampers is the rate also.
I've seen peoples bonnet just straight whack up with a CF bonnet.

Some pics of the bonnet dampers, just got back from mainland (work related) and the dampers came in while I was there, just installed them today.

Up close of the carbon damper...

Here you can see how the company altered the damping rate to match it up with the lightness of a carbon bonnet. The bonnet doesn't just shoot up in the air either, very nice that they alter the rate.

Well not cheap compared to the ones Tein and Vision sell, but they also do not revalve for a carbon bonnet, it's a one for all. They were 38000yen and the current exchange is about 114/1 so right about $333. The Tein and Vision ones sell for like half that here.

Thanks for the kind words.
Unfortunately, I can't really do that, or I risk losing my USPS box. I would love to help people not get hammered, but I just can't take the risk. Sorry.

Because they can interpret it as me running a business and you can't use USPS for personal gain. Kind of flaky rules, but they exist.
Thanks everyone else for the nice comments. Much appreciated. It's my baby, sometimes I am a bad father and beat the hell out of it, but it seems to like it for the most part.

That's just like the down and dirty ******... the more rough, the mo better. They always like it hard!
P.S. If I am ever going to be in the position to purchase another car, I am going to be looking at the possiblity of getting one of the DC5R's. I am now realizing that this body is growing on me somehow, and love the Type R maDness, Yo!

Well the diffuser came in this afternoon, after work I went to one of the department stores parking garages and installed it. I have a couple more things to do with it, I had no idea I had to drill into the undercarriage in 4 places. 2 in the hatch floor and 2 more near the rearbumper side support. It is on and not moving, but those last 4 bolts are for an even more secure fit. I think some may comment about the fit and how it looks, it's alright. It is installed properly and checking FirstMolding's site and also the instructions, it sits the same way, with a gap between it and the bumper. I am sure they could of molded it to the bumper for a tighter fit, but then maybe it wouldn't work like it is supposed to??? Not sure.
Anyways, on to the pics, yes the car is dirty, yes I know there are some holes in the bumper from where the rear lip used to reside, no I didn't know it was going to be like that because FirstMolding must of installed a new bumper on the display car. I'm not going to sweat it.

Well that's it for now. Tomorrow have a drive with some guys here and we will hopefully have a small photoshoot, even if shitty weather up at the cherryblossoms on the mountainside. Some may remember pics I took back in '04 when the car was still kind of stock looking.
