Default V-Tec Wiring For 98 EK Using Stock Harness (B18C Swap) '97 ITR

I am swapping a '97 B18C ITR motor into my '98 Ek hatch. I understand that the ITR harness cannot be used because it is a 2 piece harness, compared to my 1 piece Non-Vtec harness on my EK. I am looking for a schematic, or instructions on how to wire V-Tec into the stock harness. I also need a schematic to wire a second O2 sensor. Can ANyone Out there HELp Me With THis?

the vtec most ppl just run it straight to the ecu and for the second 02 u should already have one, might just have to extend the wire alittle/

Well if you dont wanna do all that wiring stuff, I sugest you getting a 96-98 civic EX engine wiring harrness. No need to cut any wires its plug and play... But you have to extend the oxygen sensor on the EX engine harness. But anyways wish I had the vtec wiring diagram for you... Good luck....

Go to the links in my signature for all your EK swap questions. If you are comfortable with wiring and repinning ecu plugs, save your money (on an EK EX harness) and wire the vtec, 02, 2nd 02, IACV fix, etc. Search in the Hybrid forum for even more information. Good luck.

I know what i need if i dont use that harness, I'm asking for someone that has the wiring diagram or schematic, not for more information on what i could and could not use because i already know that. Now does anyone have a schematic?

There's Pin 5,6,8 on plug A. Pin 5 which is my Secondary O2, 6 which is my Primary O2, and 8 which is my V-Tec Solenoid. I understand 5, 6 should already be there, since all OBD2 models have 2 oxygen sensors, Do i splice a wire into the wire that goes to pin 8 and run it back to the solenoid itself? Same question for PLug C Pin 15 which is VTEC pressure switch, RUn Back to solenoid? And also PLug D, Pin 6 'Knock Sensor', where do i run these wires to...kinda confused...anyone help? I understand the Fix, not hard at all....but other wires kinda skeptic on...

just use EX wiring harness and there's no need to extend oxygen sensor wire if you're converting OBD2-1

Are you kidding? It is totally self explanitory. Wire from the ecu pin to the relevant sensor. Knock sensor wire goes to knock sensor, etc. If you listened to what I said, and looked at the links in my signature, and searched the hybrid forum you could find all of this out easily. Go find whatever else you think you need, its there
