It's running alright...the first 5 minutes where rough...bouncing on idle from 500-1500rpm. Motor was snapping back and forth but after a quick kick she ran like a dream....and it's about time. After installing the engine 4 months ago, doing the MPFI swap and automatic to standard swap, she runs!

The check engine light came on, #14, I think it's the O2, well it should be since the O2 isn't plugged in haha...needs a new one. The exhaust has a bad leak and the coolant leaks under the dash, great...I did the black interior swap with CRX dash in the Civic Cx hatchie.

Just one thing I wanna know, what should I look for in a bad D series manual tranny...I've driven the H trannys in 5spd, I've driven the B in 5 spd, but never the D, and I wanna know what I should look for in a worn out tranny. I, just for kicks, quick shifted the gears and second and third seem to have a catch, third grinded once...so did reverse REAL bad the first time...maybe cause the tranny has been sitting since 2002? Anyone has any info and what a blown up D series tranny feels like, thank you!

 

I do know that 3rd gear syncros is most calming thing to go bad...that might be what the grinding your getting
