I just swaped a 97 LS into my 93 Civic hatch CX. The car dosent run right below 4,000 rpm the car is not making any power and it also chokes, After 4000 rpm it gets better but its still dosent run right. I am using ob1 ls computer. I am also using gsr engine harness an that ls. I am getting fuel and spark. I also switch the map sensor. Also i changed the ecu. Still runs the same way. What shouls i check next?

 

did you convert the engine to obd1?

 

I am just using a the obd1 ls ecu.

 

If you are using an obd1 ecu to control an obd2 engine, you need to convert certain sensors. You will probably get more help in the hybrid forum

 

get an obd1-obd2 conversion harness...or convert the whole engine to obd1

 

my friend had the same swap in his 95 hatch. But he used a obd2 ls harness and a ob1 car and it ran good.

 

Did u figure out your problem?

YOu dont have to convert a obd2 motor to run it as obd1
