Default ls/vtec question

Will a ls/vtec pass smog? Its a made up motor in their eyes, and I just wanted some insight.

use search...terms: lsvtec smog, ls/vtec smog. click on 'archived contents.'
the overall word is lsvtec will not pass smog. it has to be a factory made motor. lsvtec, crvtec, and various hybrids will never pass smog unless, that is, u know someone who can 'smog' it for you. of course its not legal but it would "pass."

put a nonvtec valve cover on it when you go in and if you have all your emissions **** it should pass...dont even know if a non vtec valve cover would fit though, but i honestly think that would work

nope nonvtec valve covers are different from vtec valve covers. i suppose you COULD always file down the vtec badge and respray the cover.
