I was wondering how do you make the little wedge bulb in the high beam housing turn on? Which wire connector is it on the harness on the back of the headlight that turns this bulb on and which wire did you hook it up on your ITR to make it work? Anybody have pix of this light on? Thanks

It's the prong w/the light green wire. Just tap into the parking light lamp wire. Good luck!

Which parkin lamp wire? I tried hooking it up to the OEM bumper light wires, but then when i turn on the turn signal it middle of the JDM headlight blinks also. That looks kinda funny. Which wire can i hook it up to so that it only turns on when u turn on the parkin light but doesnt blink?

 

Which wire you tap is dependent on what year your Integra is.
I believe all 98+ Integras...if you get the JDM front done... your sidemarkers don't blink. They are just basically parking lights (2 wires)... so for the city light... just tap that power wire.
On the pre 98 Integras.. if you get the JDM front... I believe the sidemarkers will stay on AND blink on signals. That means it will have 3 wires... one LOW power (for parking lights), one HIGH power (for signaling), and one ground. You need to tap the LOW power to the city light if you just want it to turn on w/the parking lights.

Red with black stripe.

 

Thanks everyone...i found that black wire with red stripe. Its the wedge bulb on the tail lights. Is there anywhere i can find that wire nearer to the front of the car? I dont feel like running a wire all the way to the back.

 

It should already be at the front of the car at the turn signal.

 

front of the car? where is it? the stock bumper lights blink....unless im not seeing a wire. I only know of the black, red stripe wire on the rear tail light.

 

its easy...all you have to do is remove the circular light gray high beam cover by twisting it off.....and its right behind there.

 

You should have a parking light up in the front that turns on when you turn the parking lights on. Red with a black stripe.
