oil filter housing?
ok I started my car 2 days ago and drove it down the street and basicaly when I stopped at the lights my car started smoking like crazy so I shut it off my dad followed me and said there was oil everyware, ok anyway I lost all my oil in like 2 min, I got it towed to the garage and im not exaclty sure what they fixed, it says
"R&R Oil Filter Housing and replace gasket" 0.7 hour labour 3.81$ for part. can anyone tell me exaclty what that is. is it a gasket between the thread that the filter screw onto and the enigine?

They may be refering to an Engine Oil Cooler Adapter as the "Housing". This item shows up in the Honda On-Line Catalog for both the LX and EX (#14 in supplied illustration link).

The seal in question (#34) may be what they replaced

Leak out fast? Ohhhh Yes, most definitely. You've got full oil pump pressure at that point. It would be the automotive equivalent of projectile diarrhea.
