Default EX Tranny on VTEC-E

Well guys my tranny is starting to go and i was reading around and i think i am going to go with an EX tranny but i was wondering if that would have an impact on how my vtec-e will operate. So if you guys could give me your opinion. Oh yea the car is a 97 HX.

Thanks

no your vtec is controlled by ecu all the ex tranny is gonna do is give you a little shorter gearing so it will rev a little faster but not much else
