alright guys i just got the traffic report from a car accident i had about a week ago...the other guy is at fault and the insurance is gonna total my car ..well they are giving me 5000 for the car and i am keeping my turbo kit..i was wondering what do you think i should invest in? i know its my choice but there are too many too choose from so i need help making up my mind

 

Ok what car do you have...the totalled one I mean?

Are you looking to spend only the 5000 on a car or are you thinking of getting something more expensive?

 

Judging by his Name he probably has an EK coupe. I suggest you get an EK Hatch

ek hatch looks absurdly horrible. I'd get a coupe, like 99-00, but not the SI cause it'll get stolen.

 

Get a 99-00 SI, If you're afraid it's gonna get stolen.... then but a DX badge on it ...

Easy... but I do disagree, the EK hatch looks nice. I did have to get used to it a little

 

i just cant get used to the back of the ek hatch! So fugly! The eg is so balanced and beautiful

 

ek hatch = mofugly in my opinion i think the eg hatch is better but the agian i like my ej the best

Yea buy a 99-00 si. You can find them for like 9k. Then put your turbo on that.

well i really have 15000 thousand out of the incident because thats what my lawyer and there insurance company settled at cause i had a broken sternum and broken ribs so i got all that for pain and suffering (10,000)and 5000 for my car but i want to save the 10,000 for college funds so i am thinking either buying a swapped eg hatch or something

 

You got your Traffic Report in one week? I got into a minor accident on Dec 23, 2005 and still haven't recieved the Report. BTW, I'm also in the Los Angeles Area (Los Feliz).

Maybe you use some of the money for a down payment on the Honda Fit.

hmm well thats fishey you better look into that because they state it usually takes 7-10 days..

I was in the same boat as you in decemeber, I got my car totalled by an idiot in a tacoma, I went and bought a 99 si. I love it, and thank god for that accident.

 

buy my hatch and an engine swap, or your turbo kit will bolt right up and youll have enough left over to fix the $400 in body damage...ill sell my hatch to you for 2k

 

eg shell, totally striped with a motor as a dd. that way is well be fast and no one will want to steal it

no i just went to the local CHP and told them about the incident and the date and everything and got the report for 10 bucks
