Well my friend swapped out his D16Z6 for a JDM D15B vtec motor and he has been having issues with the eacv. He think that this is messing with his idle and it isn't hooked up right. How would he go about hooking this up right?

His stock one. I guess its the P28. He had a Z6 in his car and that motor was beat so he got this and he has been having minor issues with it ever since.

Yea I don't know what the hell is going on. I just know that his idle is really messed up between 900 and 2000 rpms. The P28 does work with the JDM D15 from what I have read. Will the knock sensor need to be wired or is this caused by another issue?

the p28 will work fine. Is it throwing any cels? If you think it is the iacv then you can try taking it off and cleaning it.

It is throwing CELs. It is the Tap sensor CEL or the EACV sensor CEL. Do you have a solution for both?
"TAP"? Do you mean tps? Maybe you guys switched the map and tps plugs by accident since they are right next to each other and are the same plug. Double check that the wire colors going to the TPS are Yel/Wht - Red/Blu - Grn/Wht. And that the wires to the map sensor are Wht - Grn/Wht - Yel/Red. Hope this helps

Thanks man we will check. He used his stock harness, so all the plugs go where they reach. Should he have swapped out the harness?
No you shouldn't have to do anything to the harness just switch the plugs. They are close together and can be mixed up easily

Even on the stock harness they are close? We tried the other night and there was no way the one plug was reaching the full length to plug somewhere else.
