Default D16y7 high pitch sound at around 4500 5k RPMS ?

Hey,
Strange thing, i got this car used with 85k miles on it. When i get up to around 4500 - 5k RPMS and up i get a very high pitch sound. Im not sure where is it coming from other then i know its coming from the engine bay. Has anyone else heard of anything like this?

Thanks

hMM valve adjustment, never even thought that could be it, wonderfull i will do that this weekend. Could the valve also cause the bog down i get from 1k rpms to the 3k rpms.
When i take off the car seems like it has NO power at all untill around 3k THEN i can feel the car pull some =P.?

Mine does the same thing. Started after I got my car back from the BODY shop (those *******) and it was 10k miles AFTER i put the SRI in. i'll go do a valve job and see if that helps.

belts maybe? maybe a bearing in a pulley is going bad and it starts to make noise after that rpm..

i asked about this a while back and got an answer saying that it was the throttle body plate...apparently if it is a little bit off it will cause the air coming into the intake manifold to whistle...it hasn't posed a problem for me though...

mine may be a little different...it whistled from ~2k-3.5k...but same sorta thing

Ill take a look into the intake deal also, and how much is the pully / labor to install one?

its stec, scam-tec. i would say that its a whistle sound from the tb plate or maybe, just maybe, you need valve adjustment
