How much horsepower do you think I have?
I have a 4th gen lude. I recently threw a JDM H22A and a matching JDM ECU. I also have a AEM intake, DC header, and APEXi Dunk cat-back. I have not had it on a DYNO yet. I know the JDM H22A has 200 hp. I am not shure what advantages the JDM ECU has over USDM? Can anyone give me a educated guess on what I am putting down to the wheels? What can I expect in the 1/4 mile?
210 hp to the flywheel x .15 drivetrain loss = roughly 178 whp. You should hit high 14s if you are a good driver and on good tires.
If I went to the track with your car I wouldn't leave happy until I had a 14.5 timeslip

I agree....there's a guy I know who was running 14.5s a few weekends ago with an intake, cat-back and V-AFC, but is now running 14.8s with his new tranny. So you should be able to pull mid to high 14s.
wishful thinking...only 15% loss thru the drivetrain...
you must use one of those dyno's which give you 'bragging-rights'-figures
...a more realistic figure would be about 25%loss

I only bought the long block. If I would have bought the whole swap I had the option to get the LSD. I just used the old transmition from my Prelude S.
instead of getting all those nice looking bolt-ons, you should have invested in the h22a tranny at the same time.
no bolt-on can match the acceleration offered by a shorter ratio tranny. the prelude s tranny is a dog. it's the same tranny as used in the accord and the acceleration falls off drastically in 3rd gear.
i say your 1/4's will be in the low 15's. i wouldn't say high 14 unless you can really, really handle your car. and that's because of the gearing.

You shot yourself in the foot by not getting the H22 transmission. If you're not going to eventually pick one up then go out and purchase an A'PEXi V-AFC and tune the VTEC engagement point to a lower RPM to compensate for the shitty 'S' tranny. With just the I/H/E setup I wouldn't say you have much more over stock, I may be wrong, but I'd say only 5-8 horsepower more. If you had the V-AFC then you could tune it to a higher output and really get into the mid to high 14s.
Hmm...im thinking there will be complications with this. How can an F'series tranny work with an H'series motor? That's like people using SOHC Civic motor (D'series) trannies on B'series engines...and I know that doesn't work.
25% driveline loss? i hope not.
i have basically the same setup you have minus the headers and it made 180 hp, 150 lb/ft.
and yes the f-series tranny mates fine. thats what i have.
