what brand or clutch do you have? mabye you bought the clutch that is not good or it's depend on how you install them. if you didnt install right, it's will be a problem..

that kinda doesnt make any sense bc if you adjusted it to make it tighter and possibly adjusted it wrong then you would get the slipping your talkin bout cuz its stayin partially engaged.. but then your car would start without pushing the pedal all the way in that wouldnt give you a no start condition

the clutch isnt sliping, the cable was. i cant remember the name of the clutch , it was recomended by Noyan USA. the car never started without pushing the clutch, iv adjusted it untill the tranny wont go into gear, to where the gears go right in without clutch (car off).

loosen the cable back to where it was and try it. how old is the clutch? how hard do you drive it? because when they start to break apart and go, they screw with adjustment a lot.

but, then again, the cable could just be fraying and stretching, too.

what i think happened (why it won't start) is that you put the cable so tight that the clutch pedal won't reach the floor, therefore not tripping the sensor saying you pushed in the clutch.
