its on a 90 integra

last night i went to drop a friend off, the car ran fine never noticed anything out of the ordinary, got to my friends house and went in for about 30 min, come back out and start the car up, put it in 1st and pull out of the driveway, i go to change to second and the clutch pedal is 2x as hard to push in and it wont go into gear.

i drive home without a clutch and when driving and in gear drives fine untill i give it about 1/2 throttle then acts like clutch is slipping

i went out this morning to take a look at it and it looks like the cable is stretched the little protective boot over the cable between the adjustment nut and the release arm is torn in half

so any ideas, the only thing i can think of is maybe the release arm seized? is that possible? any input is apricated

 

just had my grandad push the clutch in for me with the car off and the release arm works fine any one else wanna throw out a suggestion

 

New clutch cable? The one you have is probably close to 30 years old

 

i dont think so, the cable itself is still hooked up and working fine, im just gonna order a new clutch kit for it then see if that fixes everything
