Ignition switch?Main Relay? What is it?????????
I'm having a problem with my 1991 Acura Legend.
First of all, when i put the key in to start it, nothing comes on in the panel area (engine lights, blickers,SRS, P-R-N-D-2-1 lights) but as soon as I turn it to start it, they all come on, and when I let go of the key after it starts, the car just dies and so does all the panel lights. than the radio will be the only thing to come on.
I've gotten a few suggestions, ignition switch, main relay, but I can't seem to figure it out. HELP!!! when I hold it just right in a certain spot after I have turned it over, if I continue to hold the key in that certain position, I can drive the car like it was on it's own. But that 's hard to do, especially when you have to almost be slumped over to hold the key and try to steet with the other. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, I HOPE I'VE GIVEN ENOUGH INFO.......

I agree. In the past two months, I've put a new ignition switch in one Legend and two Integras (I'm a tech at Acura). And the problems are pretty much identical: radio will work, car will start then shutoff. And, if you hold it just right (it's how we get it into the garage so we don't have to push
), it's driveable.

Not exactly the images we use at work, but look at part #11. That's what you need. They aren't really difficult to install, either. Good luck
