I have a 2000 and have noise as you discribe. I had it checked and they (the dealership service) told me that there aren't any adjustments at the atachment points at the windshield, and that it had to be done in the back where the top is attached to the car.

They lied to you, because according to the service manual, you can shim the catchers and reduce the gap between the top and the windshield frame.

Service. You have a hardtop, the adjustment procedure is the same for fitting your HT the first time it was installed.

Worth the $70 if you like to do your own work, or if your car is out of warranty.

I've been looking on the net for the manuel and parts microfische. I found it for my bike for free. Hoping to find the same deal but doesn't look good.

Microfiche? That's a term I haven't heard in a while. Good luck though, because I think posting that kind of stuff is sorta illegal.

Sorry, I'm a little on the old side. Does the service manuel include parts listings?

It includes parts and part numbers needed for specific procedures, even standard SAE tools. Are you in Allen or McAllen? Home of the military MRE's.
