Default Rear CHMSL plate? 4th gen people help me...

I have taken off my rear 3rd light (Center High Mounted Stop Light) on my 4th gen because I have and LED strip on my spoiler. But when I took it off I noticed that there is now a square void where it looks like a flat plate can be put in. Does anyone know what I am talking about or know where I can get one of these "plates?" The one attatched to the light forms an odd rectangular void where the light once was.

Here is a picture of the rear light that that I removed: (sorry i borrowed the picture from here but blurred out the plate)

It would be something similar to #22 but instead of being tray like, it would be flat to mount flush with the headliner:

Can someone help me find what I am looking for? Thanks!

I THINK 4th generation VTEC models may have had the LED spoiler as factory equipment, and therefore had the high mount brake light deleted. Again, not positive about that, but it seems like I've heard that before.

my 93 Vtec has one. maybe later models don't have one, but I'm pretty sure they all did.

94-96 VTEC prelude did not come with the 3rd brake light since it had the LED strip on the spoiler

my friend just stripped down a 95 prelude vtec with a COD. the 3rd brake light was not there. the headliner that was there just covered it. and it looked like it was never there in the first place.

mine is a plain stock 94vtec and is true they don't have anything on the there or any sign that there was anything there, is just plain flush. On the other, I do regret that now because I now need to install a 3rd brake light there because I'm now swaping my led spoiler for a Mugen one.

To help you with your issue, why don't you just leave the lamp where it is and just remove the bulbs so you don't have two 3rd brake lights. I once had a wingwest led spoiler and that's what I did with my oem 3rg light back when I had my si

Yep - got a 1994 Si body w/spoiler light and 3rd upper light.

It's not bothering me any.

I don't think the spoiler was standard on the Si's, it was an option . . . hence, all Si's ended up with the 3rd brake light and then some had spoilers installed later.
