I followed G2ic.com rewiring foglight tip...now my light turns off sometimes...and i think i smell burning wires but im not sure if its either the wire burning or me being paranoid about it....is there anything i need to be worried about..or it should be str8?

double check wiring...if it turned off..maybe the fuse is blown?

i did it when i had a g2...and it never gave out on me

 

Are these like fog lights on the headlight, or another set of fogs. I would just run it straight to a switch, and then ground it somewhere.

 

im guessing its the ones on the headlights.

word, done it on 2 cars, works 100% of the time.

check ur wiring.

 

well it turns off because i think the wire is not on right....i tap the dash and it turns on...im just worried about if it'll short anything out....its some 30 jdm yellow h3 bulbs i bought with stock volt

 

rewire it.....


what are u using to wire them together?

i did what it said..i cut it 2inches from the switch and spliced it onto the defogger switch...so it would be the red/yellow wire

 

did u use a crimp or a wire nut or........?
