alright i just installed a new HKS super sequential recirculating blow off valve into my girlfriends stock wrx, for some reason the car now smells like gas in and out.
Any ideas on why this it????

well the stock WRX is not bade for a blowoff valve. Especially if it is using stock turbo, stock boost, and stock fuel man. BOV will actually decrease hp, just as an intake will. Oh yeah this is HONDA tech not SUB tech.
When you vent the blow off gasses into the atmosphere, it momentarily makes the car run rich. That may be why the car smells like gas. I'd check the fuel lines to make sure, cause if you can smell it inside, you may have problems. Did you block the big rubber hose that attaches to the bottom of the stock BOV? Because you are supposed to do that. Read here; http://www.fastwrx.com/turrflbovkit.html

Does your BOV have the adjusting screw on the back? The older SSQV's do where as all of the new ones I have seen do not. If it is adjustable, and too loose, you'll be leaking a lot of metered air. The ECU has already accounted for that air when it measured it at the MAFS, and is going to inject fuel accordingly. Does the fuel smell just come from the exhaust or from the engine bay?
smells like its coming from the bay
probably not a good sign is it?
if i adjust the screw...if it has one wont it just readjust to the new setting of the BOV?

Since there is gas in the engine bay stop driving the car and fix the problem before it catches on fire. Just look at all the gas lines in the engine bay to see if one has a small leak. I rich running car shouldnt smell at all in the engine bay if it's running.
