Just wanted to know which drag radial would be best for the street?Who's running what brand and what size?...How's it working for you? Or what's a good street tire in general that's pretty decent for street racing?...TRACTION PROBLEMS ALL DAY!!!...210whp EF CRX...THANKS!!!
Neither one is good for the street. These tires are designed for the dragstrip, not the street. They come with a treadwear rating of zero, and you probably won't get more than a couple thousand miles on them before they're toast.
Get a street tire for the street. The Falken Azenis RT-615 is about the stickiest street tire you can get. It wears fast, but at least you'll get around 10K miles to a set.
If you're having traction problems on the street, even with your high horsepower application, it's probably because you're using really crappy street tires. Get some high performance street tires instead, and you'll get the traction you're looking for without having to replace them every month or two. Not drag radials.

Are you referring to the RT-215, or one of the other tires for which Falken also uses the Azenis name?
I would be surprised if you're having traction problems with the RT-215.
Here's the RT-215:

Yes. But if you really care about performance at the dragstrip, then you should get a second set of wheels - one with drag radials that you slap on at the dragstrip, and one with your street tires on it for the rest of the time.

actually the traction problems are with the RT-215's but that's on the street...i have racing slicks for the track...but the problem is just hookin up with those tires on the street...thinkin about grabbing those BFG's to play with...i hear those are the stickiest one's you can get for a drag radial...its only a weekend car anyway so hopefully ill get a good amount of life outa them...
Well, then you're right - if you're not getting enough traction from the RT-215, then about the only thing you can get is either some drag radials (which are designed for straight-line acceleration) or R compound track tires (which are designed to maximize cornering and braking as well as acceleration), neither of which will last all that long. There are a lot of very good R compounds out there, although most require some warmup before they really stick well; a few are designed for autocross and don't need much warmup.

bfg's are treadwear 0 and really dont last at all.
nitto's are treadwear 100, last a long time, but only have a little more traction than azenis.
i've had my nitto's for about 3 years now... only use them maybe one weekend every month, but still have half tread left

How's good do the nitto's hook up on launch...and thereafter? And what size are you using?Do you run them on a low tire pressure like slicks?

sounds like you guys had bad camber with your tires.... ive had 2 sets of BFG's...
first set i daily'd with them year round... every weekend made 3 hour trips from Fresno to LA and back...
people get these tires and fail to make sure their cambers are right! if your cambers are right your good to go....
i had over 6 track days and many street races on mine....
but to each his own!
but for a 210Whp car.. i would tell u to go with the 205x50's
good luck u wont be let down!
