Default please help, car wont crank

Hi, all. I tried searching but to no avail...anyway...I have a 91 std. that i just swapped a 91 dx motor and trans. into I know everything was in working order when i pulled the motor from the donor car. Now everything is done i go to fire her up and it'll just click once. I can hear the pump is priming. the battery is brand new. new wires and plugs too. I seemed to be stumped now. any help would be great. Thanks

All my grounds seem to be fine. The starter was new and worked the last time I started the motor up in the old car. Now when i turn the key to the on position the starter clicks 2-3 times softly, then I go to start it and it clicks once. Maybe starter is bad. Also I dont know if it matters but by the headlight harness is a group of wires 2 blue ones that go to an unknown plug, and just before that there are a black/ brown,a blue/brown, and a red/black wire, all of which are cut.

make sure u tape off the wires if u dont know what they are. its easy to get ur starter tested at an autozone or some thing. but it sounds like some thing isnt grounded right. double check all ur grounds.

did you try bump starting the car? try it in 2nd gear, that is the ideal "human pushed" bump start gear
