Why does it have to be jdm? Most USDM brand intakes make more peak horsepower. If you're just gonna be driving your car in a straight line, a cold air intake from injen or aem would be best. If you're gonna be tracking/autocrossing/canyon driving, a high flowing airbox from mugen/comptech/or arc would be good. Do some searching you'll fine whatever you need on here.

What JDM is gonna give you power? Nothing.

I like jdm because its good craftmanship. I was thinkin about the fujitsubo powergetter for the exhaust. and maybe the j's racing intake.

an intake is not some high precision peice of machinery. its a bent pipe used to route air. what is the need for it to be a Japanese Domestic Motor?

Injen CAI and probably the powergetter for the exhaust is good. what 96 SOHC VTEC and nijia555 said is a good site. so is rsxmotorsports.com and showstoppersusa.com are also good.

Hey Kraemer, How much you pay for your type s. My dealer is selling me one for 23,900 with the all options and A-spec package. Im just curious if its a good deal. But i know it is a steal.

Forgive me for my braging.

^^ Thats a great price, especially if they're throwing in the complete A-Spec package.

I have a powergetter and injen cai, that combo is awesome. No need for overexpensive jdm intake when you can have a superior usdm product (injen) for cheaper. Unless you get for just the bling factor then go right ahead.

im about 3 weeks away for buying a Type S myself and the 1st 2 things i plan on buying is an AEM V2 intake because it makes about the same amount ofpower as its regular CAI and the other thing im getting is an Apex i GT spec exhaust......i hope this helps u out.

Cool, Im still undecided between the TYPE S, SI, or the SRT-4. Im leaning towards the TYPE S because its a nice looking car with a great interior.

What part of NY you from. Im assuming its not in the city, sounds like up state. But good luck with your new car!!!
