suspension help?!?!

Default suspension help?!?!

had a quick question about taking out the top hat part?? the part where u put the allen wrench got alittle stripped, what else can i do to take it out?? thnxs

vise grips

put them on the rod from inside the wheel well and loosen the bolt

but its stock suspension with the metal shield that blocks the rod?? should i just cut the spring to cut the shield off??

id cut the nut off, somehow. anyway you can. a nut breaker might work too.

but make sure you have the spring compressor on while youre doing this.

i would cut the nut but im tryin to use the stock shock and i dont want to ruin it... lol i didnt use a spring compressor, wasnt that bad.... hehehehee

thats actually a good trick. problem would be that you could damage the shock by spinning the rod fast.
