bored...so decided to make my history/build post...

it all started in highschool back in 2001...i purchased my first civic, 1990 civic si. in 2002 i purchased my second civic, a 1989 civic si...my dad took over my first civic and is currently driving it daily.

it was a bit of an interesting story behind my second civic, the owner lived across the street of my highschool...i always told myself that was one daym clean civic and one day i hope to buy it. at the time i was working at an indepent shop in san gabriel and it turned out that one of the techs their was the owner. after a few months working at the shop he asked if i was interested in buying the vehicle...sure enough i jumped on it. so here goes the story....enjoy!!

after driving around with the a6 burning a quart every few weeks i decided to drop in a dohc zc...my first swap.





in college all the fun began....i got accepted into the honda pact program at rio hondo college in whittier and recently graduated in june, i got a job at american honda in torrance in the industry education department supporting honda pact and ayes. never thought id work in a office with a shirt and tie, but its not bad. (im loving it!!) working at honda i met many people interested in road racing, autocrossing, etc. following in their foot-steps ive become more involved in the sport...ive had the chance to meet and work with the owners of hasport, progress suspension, fenton motorsports, and so on. all in all a great experience.










after doing a couple track events i decided i needed a front brake up-grade...from stock si to da front knuckles and brakes. i used brembo slotted and drilled rotors with hawk blue pads...i stopped like no other.

currently...my car is taking a break. i got into an accident 12/14/05. this was the first time my cars ever been on a tow truck since ive owned it.




i never made it to work that day...




the goal is to have the civic fixed and running again by the end of summer...luckily i finished my 2nd car and got my reg. tags the day i crashed...
