Default HELP! PLEASE! NO TURN SIGNAL'S

Hi, trying to figure out this problem, wondering if anybody has had the same problem. I bought this car for my wife, 1992 Accord, and she just loves it!, but I have a problem with the turn signals. they don't work! LoL, the drivers side turn's on and stay's on, it doesn't matter if it's running, or not, or even if the key's are even in the ignition. The Hazards don't work either. Now, if you pull the fuse marked small light from under the hood, the signal light goes out and don't work at all, but the hazzard light's function properly. In my opinion, it sound's like a short feeding back through a ground, but I can not figure out where. I have pulled the fuse box from under the hood and checked all the wiring, plus cleaned the body ground that Honda has hid under it, and have checked all the fuses under the hood, and inside the car, plus replaced and tested all the bulbes. I'm at a loss, these GREMLIN'S are getting the best of me, any help would be much appriciated!. Oh, yeah, I also ripped the colum apart and replaced the turn signal switch.

It's still acting like a blown bulb (open circuit).
I suspect that all the bulbs test good, you've got a corroded lamp socket that no longer makes contact with the bulb base. That's one of the reasons manufacturers went to a wedge style (7440/7443) bulb from a bayonet (1156/1157) style bulb; the socket won't corrode

Well, thank's for your help, I'm not sure what I did, but I had given up on the whole thing, and started to re-assemble the column, all the plastic in the trunk, and fuse box under the hood, then once I put it all togeather, they all of a sudden started working the only minor problem I have now is when the headlights are on, and the turn signal is on, on the left hand turn, the clock, and the radio, and the interior light's flash as well. Any idea on this?, if not, thanks for your help through this ordeal. My wife is happy now, and paying $400.00 for this car really doesn't seem that bad any more! LoL!. Thank's again

Yup, the steering colume has to come apart again..... (sorry, I can hear you screaming from Providence (f' God's sake))
The multi-function Lamp/Directional switch is the only place where most all of these systems come together

Damn! LoL!, I had a feeling that was the problem, I tore that switch apart once already and cleaned and regreased it, but there was 2 spot's in side that where kind of iffy, one was the trace for the turn signal was a little burned, but not broke, but was indented and dark, plus it's contact's where a bit wore as well, and the other spot was on the power switch, same thing with the trace and contact's.I guess I'd better call the dealership and find out how much a new one is worth ,probably expensive eh! LoL!. well, I thank you very much for your time and patience with me, you have been a great help.

L/H Multifunction switch: $20.70 USD from these people
http://www.rockauto.com/catalo...=4580

If you've an AC Delco Reseller in your area:
Use A/C Delco Part Number E6277

L/H Multifunction switch (#14): $20.03 USD from this Honda dealer
http://www.hondaautomotivepart...WITCH

It might still be cheaper to pick it up on your side of the St Lawrence River, what with import duties (or did NAFTA do away with that?) etc

Thanks again, you where right. It's about $35.00 up here in Canada. I guess it's a regular part to wear out LoL. During my digging in the column, I have stumbled into another problem with the ignition switch. Once in a while, I can get the car to crank over, and when it fires and you let go of the key, it quit's, and all the light's go out in the dash. All you have to do is give the key a bit of a shake till the light's come back on, and bang!, it will fire right up again for me. Do you think this could be part of my problem too?
Thank's for your time again

As far as your directional lights? No
As far as things completely shutting off? Yes

Honda actually had a recall on later models for just that problem. They were actually shutting off the engine while driving. scary

In Illinois, arm signals are legal. I have no idea about Canada.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for, especially in Canada in January, but it may let you temporarily drive the car while you get the real problem fixed.

Driver's left arm straight out - left turn
Driver's left arm bent so the hand is straight up - right turn.
