touchy steering
does anybody elses steering feel like it is way to touchy yet loose expecialy at highway speed where if you just rest your hand on one side you wind up on the other side of the road yet there is a little play....
is there any common problems with the crx's that cause this or is this normal...
it also feels like it is hard to keep in a straight line like you always have to be right on top of the car i know it needs an alignment because its pulls a little to the right but i havent got a camber kit yet and its droped 3.5 inches

I got the same problem. At high speeds, the car feels like it could turn a little too easily especially if it hit a bump on the road. Often times, I have to hold the steering column really firm on the freeway.
Of course, my setup is a little different, I have a newly rebuilt power steering rack from an Auto DX. (I removed the pump).
Hopefully someone else can help. I'm almost ready to attempt to tighten the nut under rack.

Me too... these issues sound very familiar. My car exhibits the same stability traits but didn't feel like this new. I'm no expert, but I think there are several factors contributing to the touchy steering.
Here's a few off the top of my head:
A lot of us have larger wheels, lower profile tires than the stock 14's which likely have much stiffer sidewalls and amplify road irregularites.
Our cars are old and bushings/steering/suspension components are worn.
Extra weight over the front wheels due to motor swaps.
Lowered suspension, camber/alignment issues.
CRX's have short wheel bases, more susceptible to the other issues above.
I also replaced my steering knuckles/brakes with DA units, has felt a little funky/touchy ever since. I think I'll change back when I get around to it.
Lots of others I'm sure.
