Request to FAST4DR: Sound Clip of the TypeOne Catback System
I just got my 5Zigen Fireball axleback and TypeOne b-pipe. I was set on returning the 5Zigen after David (FAST4DR) stated that the TypeOne N1 Style axleback is suprisingly NOT loud, and with the optional silencer, it may approach near stock sound levels.
I like the more discrete look of the TypeOne muffler compared to the 5Zigen. It doesn't have the "Hey, look at my aftermarket muffler...wanna race?" look. My dilemma is, I'm going to get hit with a 20% restocking fee if I return the 5Zigen. Before I make anymore mistakes and lose more money, I wanted to compare a sound clip of the TypeOne to the 5Zigen. The clip below is a TypeR with a turbo version of the 5Zigen and it doesn't sound annoyingly loud. I am assuming the N/A version that I have will be even quieter and in addition, I'm willing to run it with a silencer.

I've done my search on this board and others and I've had mixed results. Most say that it's fairly quiet but there are a few out there that say it's loud. The impression I got from David (FAST4DR) is that the Fireball is A LOT louder than the TypeOne. Damn, I'm confused once again.
Help the fickle, please.

Anyway, when in doubt, ask you're girl. She made my decision an easy one. She didn't like how the 5Zigen looks so it's TypeOne for me. What's 20%($70) anyway...one can always make money.

I just want an exhaust that...
a.) Doesn't stray too far from the stock exhaust in terms of noise pollution.
b.) Doesn't stick out and attract attention.
c.) Doesn't have a droning effect inside the cabin when cruising.
d.) has bigger tubing than stock to make a better match with a JDM style header and hi-flow cat.
Is that too much to ask for?

The T.1's sound is way deeper.

As for sound clips, I will try to get some. I think it is supposed to rain all day, though. As for sound, someone said the Type One was loud? I found it very mellow and deep, even on a B16 (test car). So, let's just wait and see what I can capture on MPEG. Now, who can host it for me?

If the 2.5" "B" pipe is over $300... Dave can keep it.
Roberts noisemaker "ICY HOT SUTNNA PIPE" can't have a "sound clip".... it can only be expressed with a DB meter that goes over 110db.
