Default DC5 JDM rims on Civic EP: how to ??

Is there anyone who successfully installed DC5 JDM rims (not RSX-S) on a Civic EP series ??

Any pics ??

Is some modding / fixing necessary in order to do it ??

Or just plug and play??

Carlo

Thanks for the pic... nice race EP !!!

I really need to know if those rims can be mounted plug and play on a standard EP chassis... like a "normal" Civic Si or EP3.

I remember someone did install those on a Civic Si... (silver).

Anyone ???

Carlo

Hey Mr. Italian stallion

There are a few modifications needed, I guess this was the page you were looking for.

If you don't want to do the whole Brembo swap (only reason I can think of is because of $$$$), you can use spacers and extended lug studs.

The offset on the DC5-R rims is 60 mm, so you'd need spacers about 15 mm thick.

Thanks BarracksSi.

I luckily already have extended long studs.. I will only need to use the spacers.

I thought 10mm spacers would be more than enough...

OFFSET on EP3 standard rims is 50 right ??

Pls confirm...

Carlo

PS - Hey Felix how u doin' ??

Offset on EP3 standard rims is 45, Carlo.

Fine thanks, hope to talk to you soon on MSN.

Thanks Felix. I will need 15mm spacers then. I'll be ok.

Talk to you soon and see ya at the Ring.

Ciao, Carlo
