D15B Vtech longblock for 95 civic?

Default D15B Vtech longblock for 95 civic?

I am interested in getting a D15B longblock for my civic hatch and was wondering what else i would need to get here is the setup from hmotersonline.com:

D15B SOHC VTEC Longblock

Price: $ 435.00 Plus shipping and handling.
Availability: In stock and ready to go.



- Motor
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Injectors
- Fuel Rail
- Throttle body
- Alternator
- Distributor
- 5 Speed Hydro Tranny


So, what else do i need to have a good running status....it already has a d15b but its not the vtech its the 92 hp model lol

You'll need a p28 to run it and probably a 4wire o2 (if its not left in the manifold) and some wiring to get vtec wiring and o2 wiring upto what that motor requires.

You'll also either need to modify its harness, or your harness.

You could also use a p08 ecu with you can order from hmotorsonline. If you have a vx you should have all the necessary wiring for vtec, when i did my d15b it was all plug and play. You may also want to change the timing the belt when you get, use a vx timing belt with 103 teeth. Hope this helps

He has a 95 CX right now, so 1wire 02 and no wiring for vtec. 92 is the only year that had vtec wiring in back harness, and VX/SI carried it always of course.

Timing belt isn't bad idea, just for life of motor.
