Help... When idleing that tac rolls up and down
Could this be because the car is running to rich or the fact that there is no Cat on my exhaust yet neither is there an O2 sensor? It only happens when the car warms up. Does not happen on startup or when i let the car cool down.
Thanks for the help guys...

Do a search on here for FITV. Same thing was happening to my 94 Integra. The idle would fluctuate from 1000-2500.

I have a similar problem... the cold idle is fine, its only when it warms up... my tac bounces up and down between 500-1000 RPMs... usually not more... tac also bounces when wheel is turned (power steering engages) and if I rev it up, it'll drop to about normal and start bouncing again... if it's just sitting it is usually pretty consistent... still some drop though.... bounces down, back up, then not as far back down again and back up... its WEIRD... ran an induction cleaning service, some injector cleaner, replaced the whole Dizzy... my mechanic seems to think it could be my idle controller.... it needs to be cleaned... but it's buried way down in the bay...
do these symptoms sound familiar?

Try the FITV. Its really easy to check. I dont feel like typing out what all is involved but its been covered on here a lot.

my idle would fluctuate... when i turn the wheel (stopped, not moving), when i would rev it up... it would fall back down and bob up and down, gradually stopping... or when its just sitting (warm) it does the bob up and down every so often...

yeah its either IAC or TPS....iono but with my luck i had this twice...and both times were TPS but yours could be IAC...but if i had to choose i would say TPS is bad...not a hard fix...just a cost a bitch to buy.
Here is the thread that shows you where it is and what to do. Now if you use a rachet with a screw driver bit instead of a regular screwdriver to take the cover off the FITV you dont need to take the entire assembly off. Just get the cover off and I used a thin 1" wide file to screw the plastic piece back down. Make sure its all the way down too or itll come loose again.

any loose vacuum hoses
EAICV (electronic air idle control valve)
map sensor
i had the same problem and it was #1 for me, but that is what i was told to check in order.
Good luck

so this problem could not happen because of the o2 sensor on the exhaust. The computer is not throwing codes so ill check what you guys told me to thanks for the imput...
