Default lma installation

Can anyone give me a heads up on installing some lma's into my b16 crx? I want to know if there is any snafu's before I tear into it. I'm going to be replacing the cam's, valve springs, retainers, valve seals, and lma's at the same time. Can it be done with the head still on the car? I remember seeing some pics of this before but I can't seem to find them now. Thanks in advance for the help guys, I really appreciate it.

^^link doesn't work. As far as valve springs, unless you have a special spring compressor like this http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog...11149 you will need to remove the head. Everything else shouldn't pose a problem, check out http://www.c-speedracing.com for some nice how-to articles. Or even better, get a shop manual.

Default it can be done in car...

I did it. But you have to take out the rocker arm rods. They are the
length of the cyllinder head! I think they had to come out the driver's side
only (since there isn't enough clearance on the passenger)
You'll need a hex bit to remove the access bolt or something.

i heard u need to soak the LMAs in oil prior to install.

Yes, you do have to take out the rockers. This isn't something that you should do without a shop manual btw. You'll have to take out the dizzy and vtec solenoid to get to the rocker arm shafts, and screw a bolt into the end of them to pull them out towards the battery. You should put rubber bands around the rocker assemblies to hold them together while you take them out.
If you're using itr/gsr LMAs, you should soak them in oil for 24 hrs prior to install, but if you're using h22 LMAs, then there's no need, since they're just exposed springs. I put some assembly lube on the pads on top of the springs.
