Default time to replace spark plugs and wires?

my engine seems to be bogging. more specifically, when im driving, and accelerating at rpms below 4000, i can randomly feel the engine kick in harder. perhaps the engine is misfiring? im assuming i should change my spark plugs and wires. plugs and wires have never been changed as far as i know and im @ 162k miles. TB, IM, fuel injectors, etc. are all good n clean if that makes any diff.

also, whats a good website for oem spark plugs and wires? my engines completely stock so no use in getting high performance parts...

go to autozone or advance auto and do a complete tune up. cap/rotor/plugs/wires air filter if it hasnt been done in a while, maybe even fuel filter. if that doesnt fix your problem, try testing your tps.

Do not use Autozone ignition components, they suck. I've gotten wires from there that don't even fit, and the cap I got leaked and left me stranded on a rainy day.

Do you need to replace the wires? Are they damaged / cracked? I've seen OEM ones last the life of some civics. I would check the plugs / cap / rotor and see if it's time to replace them; and if you can't remember last time it was done, I would say it's a good time.

If that doesn't help at all, then start looking harder.

yeah, thats a good point. I only buy plugs at advance. the rest of the stuff youd be better off getting oem.
