i have a y7 in my 91 hb.95 z6 intake y8 throttle body,aem intake, cam gear.any one have any helpfull answers.cant afford b16a yet !paying child support is killing me!dam bitch.dont have a kid while your young!

 

why not get the cam for your cam gear...

 

wut kinda times u getting with that setup??? i have a D15B1 with a y7 head with a6 manifold header short ram intake and mpfi setup of course and a dx 5 speed in my 88 std hatch( lightest EF hatch) full interior street tires ran a 16.0 at 85 mph last night kinda shitty 3rd gear so i will do alot better as soon as honda crx brings my si tranny up here ehmm.. cough cough... but its strong pulls real hard i kill everyne in the 8th mile but once i hit 3rd gear my car just lays down... cars that run low 15s cant keep with me off the line. just thought ud like to know i think with my drag radials with the dx tranny ill hit a 15.8 hook up a lil better

 

hell ya i want to know!i have not ran it yet .91 std hb also.from 4000 to 6500 is nice.pulls hard.the local honda dealer ship i used to work at sells me the core motors.was a secret!!!!!!cheap.have you drove a b16a 4g?is it that much faster?

 

well phattwippin_crx on the board knows my hatch is quick its not much slower than a b16 but theres not a whole lot to do for it u know i ordered my skunk2 exhaust today in a week it should be here. umm im also getting a clucthmasters clucth ehmmm hondacrx again yeh but it shoud be good for low 15s with a d15 last night people were all like wut motor u got in there and i said d15 they were all confused. just like u said 4 grand its nasty sounds awsome to i used a y8 head gasket also to up teh compression ratio also. the exhaust should free up some more power i dunno if i want to buy andthing like a flywheel to rev faster cause it revs fast now. but the dragg radials should help alot and with the exhaust and tranny i could possibly dipp into a 14.9 if i do that with a d15 ill be smiling ear to ear. i lauch at 4 grand also if u were wonderin hit me up on aim if u got it jdmb18civichatch

its there to look at haha i dunno really why they have it it dont do anything at all my car warms up like any honda idles at like 2 grand when cold warms up and idles down. so fast idle is extra weight

 

im using a 4dr dx tranny but honda crx is bringing me a si tranny with a clucth soon so ill be killing them new sis reallllyyyy soon as soon as they are on eth street with them ricers teh 4dr tranny has a diff final drive so its a lil quicker off the line

stinken trunks ! thats funny.my friend loves his trunk,i mess with him all the time.not ragging on the trunks,just prefer hb.he did have a nice 91 ex four door.black with gold volk wheels.

teh d15 should hold up desecntly to a few mods abaz put boost to his and it held up untill he got greedy haha the d15 has a better rod stroke ratio compared to a d16 also. and higher compression so yeilds good power. it can handle some power but i dont know how much really

 

what about the tranny question?yes still have that dam 4 speed.is the dx-si that much better?

 

look up its a dx five speed alot better than the 4 speed trust me on that

 

have you thought about higher comp ratio pistons yet?

 

i have but i dunno if i want to do all teh work. the d15 already has 9.2:1 and with the y8 head gasket and y7 head it should be higher than that. if i was to do pistons id do rods also and possibly a block gaurd i was planning on some slight boost but i dont want to test its limits.. and all the carbon build up helps compression to hehe

 

yes dont fix it if it isnt broke.carbon thing is funny.what did you think of the crx?i agreed with you on that.did you see all that money invested in every thing but the motor!it still has the d16a6 in it.dont get me wrong im all about the d-series. but if i had the money that would be the first place i would invest it.right?

 

hell yeh that tv setup alone would be low 14s and the rest 12s hehe but wutever its his car
